Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu!
My Father joined the Qadiriyya Tariqa and he wants me to join the Tariqa also. Since I am already in the Naqshbandi Tariqa, I want to get ijaza to join the Qadiriyya Tariqa.
May I ask for an ijaza to join the Qadiriyya Tariqa from the Sheikhs?

Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Allah sanctify his soul, holds the Qadiri Tariqa also but he gives us baya` in the Naqshbandi Tariqa and trains us in it. By following him you are a virtual Qadiri and, furthermore, many of the Grandshaykhs in our Silsila also shared in that attribute of his (Allah sanctify their souls).
It should also help to remember that a Murid between two Shaykhs is like a wife between two husbands: it cannot be; and that when we take baya`, our Shaykh is closer to us than our own soul, not to mention closer to us than our parents; that is the ideal for which we strive and Allah Most High is able to realize it for us.
