Question:
When a Pir asks their Murid to do something for them, however big or small the request.
What is it about the murid that is really being asked of, what is it that the murid needs to have and why?

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani’s teaching – and this is the teaching of the Naqshbandi mashaykh – is that when the Pir requests something of the murid, the murid must rush to do it to the best of his ability. Allah knows best.
