Alhamdullilah I wanted to ask what I have to do (steps) in order to become a wali and keep on going higher and higher until I become intoxicated in Allah (SWT) and keep on going farther than that?

Allah grants His wilaya, friendship, to whom He likes. Wilaya, sainthood is a grant and a blessing. Sometimes it may be based on the struggle of the individual to approach Allah and other times it may be a grant without any “reason”, called in Arabic wahban.
However, since your intention is sincere, the first step on the path to wilaya is to become the trainee of someone who has already attained that station, a murshid, a spiritual guide. Such a shaykh will guide you step-by-step to attain your goal, insha-Allah.
