I Live in Brazil and has a bar here that sells drinks and pork and has pictures of Makkah and Al-Fatiha hanging ornament, the bar’s name is called Morocco. Talking with the owner he was a person who traveled the Arab countries but know nothing about religion and he is a Christian. I asked him to withdraw because it is an insult to the Prophet SAW but he refuses and even aggressive. In another bar here in Brazil they have Arab Maronites of Lebanon that took the name of the Prophet in a bar too! Wahabi organizations in Brazil, because unfortunately Wahhabism dominates here, as WAMY, take no action! What then should we or can we do in this case!
Answer:
`Alaykum as-Salam,
Leave them to Allah. You are not responsible for what goes on in bars.
مَّنِ ٱهۡتَدَىٰ فَإِنَّمَا يَہۡتَدِى لِنَفۡسِهِۦۖ وَمَن ضَلَّ فَإِنَّمَا يَضِلُّ عَلَيۡہَاۚ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ۬ وِزۡرَ أُخۡرَىٰۗ وَمَا كُنَّا مُعَذِّبِينَ حَتَّىٰ نَبۡعَثَ رَسُولاً۬
{Whoever goes aright, for his own soul does he go aright; and whoever goes astray, to its detriment only does he go astray: nor can the bearer of a burden bear the burden of another, nor do We chastise until We raise a messenger.} Surat al-Isra’ 17:15.
وَعِبَادُ ٱلرَّحۡمَـٰنِ ٱلَّذِينَ يَمۡشُونَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ هَوۡنً۬ا وَإِذَا خَاطَبَهُمُ ٱلۡجَـٰهِلُونَ قَالُواْ سَلَـٰمً۬ا
{And the servants of the Beneficent are they who walk on the earth in humbleness, and when the ignorant address them, they say: Peace.} Surat al-Furqan 25:63
وَلَا تَسۡتَوِى ٱلۡحَسَنَةُ وَلَا ٱلسَّيِّئَةُۚ ٱدۡفَعۡ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحۡسَنُ فَإِذَا ٱلَّذِى بَيۡنَكَ وَبَيۡنَهُ ۥ عَدَٲوَةٌ۬ كَأَنَّهُ ۥ وَلِىٌّ حَمِيمٌ۬
Nor can Goodness and Evil be equal. Repel (Evil) with what is better: then will he between whom and thee was hatred become as it were thy friend and intimate!} Surat al-Fussilat 41:34
