Hellfire

Question:

salam alaykum Syedi.
I was talking to a brother who had been saying bad stuff about Mawlana Shayk Nazim, which was all refuted, but there was one queastion he asked.

He said Mawlana believes that Hellfire is not eternal and also said that the punishment of the disbelievers will end, which is against the teaching of ahle sunnah wal jamat.
13 of “The Naqshbandi Sufi Way: History and Guidebook of the Saints of the Golden Chain”, by Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani:

On page 13 of this book, it states that “while the Prophet (s.a.w.s.) was dying”, “he interceded for every individual that God created”, and “he took on the burden of each person until he was satisfied that God had forgiven everyone”, and “then he left this world”.

also he said he gave me link….. http://www.sheiknazim.com/portal-bin/content/view/128/66/

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

The reference you mentioned is from a wali‘s vision. In a vision one may
see all creation as saved or vice versa, for edification. A vision is not meant to define or redefine belief.

As for discussing the material on
http://www.sheiknazim.com/portal-bin/content/view/128/66/ queries should
be directed to those responsible for that website.
