I recently attended a lecture about the Day of Judgment by Mohammad Abdul Jabbar from UK at Melbourne University and I bought 2 books called Riyâd-us-Sâliheen, Published in Riyadh and is compiled by AL-Imam Abu Zakarya Yahya bin Sharaf An-Nawi Ad-Dimashqi and commented by Hafiz Salahuddin Yusuf. I just want to confirm if we are allowed to read the books. As we all know that in this era of fitna many books and Hadiths are corrupted by some ignorants scholars.
