Kindly educate me about the concept of souls visiting their homes/relatives on Fridays, mid of Shaban or eid days. Is this belief valid and supported by authentic narrations?
Are the souls free to move around and visit places or are they confined to some places depending upon their deeds?
Answer:
`Alaykum as-Salam,
there is no such concept, however, there are reports on the souls’
awareness of living visitors to their graves and of the donations of
their worship that the living may send them at any time.
