Tawwasul and Istighatha

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Sayyidi,

Thank you so greatly for making the book “Mafaheem yajib an tusahah” by as-Sayyid Muhammad Alawi al-Maliki available. I have read most of it and learned a lot. It certainly opened my eyes.

Sayyidi, forgive me for my ignorance, and my lack of Adab, for I have understood that the book mostly talks about tawwasul, and the Ulama are in consensus of it. Especially tawwasul through the Prophet.

Would it be possible to point me in a direction with regards to reading material related to Istighatha and its Adab, preferrably in Arabic?

Is Istighatha the same as saying “Ya Muhammad (SAW), Ya Abu Bakr, Ya Umar, Ya Uthman, Ya Hasan, Ya Hussein”? Or is this tawassul?

Many thanks, and appologies again for my many questions and lack of Adab.

Sincerely
