Salaam
I had a dream where i am in my own house and it is surrounded by darkness! I think in my dream my mother doesn’t allow any light into the house, she starts making noises like she is crying, I turn to my sister & say ”I can’t be asked with all this drama again” (it’s been a very hard relationship with my family for the past 3years, they have done black magic on me,given me emotional abuse,all because I said I wanted to marry a white convert & not my cousin) After that I see an old man trying to climb the stairs, people are laughing at this old man. So I go and help him up the stairs, & this old man turns out to be Maulana Sheik Nazim, I think they say they will pray 4me,& then I’m back in my house surrounded by darkness again.
Interpretation:

Darkness signifies overwhelming power of the Divine Decree and your parent in the dream points to Allah Most High. Climbing up the stairs means hardship and that is what Mawlana endures by carrying our burdens and beseeching protection on our behalf despite our acts. The instruction in the dream – and Allah knows best – is for you to try and submit to your parents and mend relations with them however bitter it is, because Divine help and approval will come to you through that door and you might be stuck a long time until it opens. To that intention, try to banish from your mind the negative notions and grievances mentioned in your parenthesis and focus on the goodness that you have benefited from them with the dhikr Ya Lateef x100 every day.
