As-Salaam Alaykum!
I dreamed that I was explaining to my brother the reality of Sayyidina ‘Ali (ra.), the way he fought the enemies of Islam. Suddenly I “was” Sayyidina ‘Ali (ra.), wearing his shield and sword, slaying an opponent (I wasn’t properly him, but was dressed with his reality). I got a hit on the shield, then slashed the enemy fatally. I felt strength and ease to win the fights. I also showed my brother the body of a man killed by Sayyidina ‘Ali (ra.) cut in two halves, explaining to him that so great were his (ra.) prowess. Please, what is the meaning of this dream?

What you saw is the spiritual power of Mawlana Shaykh, who is a descendant of Sayyidina `Ali (as), to slay the ego of his murids. As you progress more in tariqah, insha-Allah you will be gifted with “die before you die.”
