Dream: Helping refugees

Dream:

Assalam u alaikum,

I was feeling very depressed one night and I cried to Allah swt and Maulana to forgive me and make things easy for me and then fell asleep. I dreamt I was helping refugees in Syria however they were in my house. They were mainly women and children. I fed them soup and green grapes. I also remember it was snowing.

Could this mean anything?
Jazakallah

Audhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajim
Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm:

Wa `alaykumu s-salāmu wa rahmatu l-lāhi wa barakātuh,

This dream is a reminder and a guidance for you and for all of us, answering your sincere call for help.It shows that whatever problems we have, we need to look at people who are in a worse situation than us and we need to help them and serve them.

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani said in one of his suhba:

If you want to get rid of depression, know yourself. As long as depression is stalking you, it means that you don’t know yourself. Saints never suffer depression because they know themselves. When they know themselves, they submit to God. They surrender to God: there is no will for them. Their will is God’s Will. They are swimming in that Divine Will. They are not asking for their own benefit. They are asking everything for the benefit of human beings. If you can ask for human beings before asking for yourself, at that time you will be knowing yourself.

As long as you want anything for yourself, you will never reach that level of self-knowledge. First, give your love to your people. Slowy, little by little, God will make you known to yourself.

And Allah knows best.
