Dream: My colleague at work.

Dream:

Assalamu Alaikum Sayyidi,

May Allah keep you for us and bless you and your families and loved ones for this wonderful help you are offering us.

I had a feeling that this dream was telling me something about myself, but I wasn’t sure.

In this dream Sayyidi, I saw my colleague at work, who isn’t Muslim, who told me he had read the first Juz‘ of Quran, he is convinced and he’s stressed about praying five times and its stopping him.

I told him to relax, continue reading the whole Quran till the end because that will certainly aid him, and told him to start praying once a week. The dream ended there.

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam

The dream indicates that many non-Muslims will enter Islam in the Last Days. As he expressed, the burdens of Shari`ah are the main impediment to many entering Islam but their hearts accept the `aqidah of Islam easily. Since entering Islam requires only testification of belief and failing to follow Shari`ah is a sin but not disbelief, you showed him the way to enter, as our Shaykhs teach us, by lightening the “load” to praying only once a week. After all, how many “born” Muslims do not pray?  You understood the wisdom in this approach: that Quran didn’t come in one night but was revealed over 23 years. Thus you opened the door for him to enter Islam, alhamdulillah.

As you feel, this dream may apply to you, perhaps you need to dive more into Quran’s oceanic wisdoms, and stress less on guilt trips people may run you.

W ‘Allahu `alam,
