Asslamua’laikum,
I wanted to know, how I would know if I am related by blood to the Prophet pbuh. In other words if I am a Sayyid or not.

Walaikum Assalam,
Usually a Sayyid Family keeps a family tree. You can ask an elder in your family if such a tree exists. I am not denying that there are Ahlu ‘l-Bayt in this day and age who may not be aware of their connection to Prophet (s), but I am not sure how you can prove that you are without a tree.
