Regarding Marriage

Question:

Asalam alaykum,

May Allah reach you to your destination. Actually i m living in Germany and since 5 months following Mawlana shaykh Nazim. I heard from you that marriage is in this time 100% Iman. Mawlana shaykh Nazim said that he doesn’t like any man to visit who is unmarried. I’m 35 and divorced since 7 years. I had never a good health to be able to work and keep my family but my ego is strong and he wants a wife. It is so difficult for me to control it in Germany. On the other side my parents are pushing me to be married, but i don’t see the ability of that in me. Some time i think to go to my homeland Afghanistan to stay somewhere in mountains maybe there i can control my ego. In this case my parents takes me as crazy. Tell me what to do please.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Dear brother,
It is enough what Mawlana said confirming what our Blessed Prophet (SAWS) said about marriage in Islam:

“A person who possesses the means to marry (i.e. he is able to work etc. to support a wife and family) and does not marry is not from among us (i.e. the believers).”
