If husband wants to rajuh after 1st divorce

Question:

Salam,

My husband divorced me a month a ago. This is first divorce and now he wants to rajuh but his family and specially his mother is stopping him from doing so. Is it permissible in Islam to obey the parents in such a case? Does he have to listen to his parents? I’m very stressed out, please pray for me as well. I really want to be with my husband and he with me, but he is under his family’s pressure.

Answer:

A`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem

It is not permissible in Islamic law that parents block the move which Allah (swt) prescribed in the Noble Qur’an so clearly.
