My family is Kaafir

Question:

As salamu `alaykum,
Since I married, I have started studying Islam more and more. My father’s family are all Muslim, but I did not grow up with them. My mother’s family are kaafir, and my grandmother forces me to take off my hijab when I enter her street. My grandfather is a mushrik (because he believes in horoscope and astrology), and I’m afraid that my family will go to Hell. I don’t know how I can convince them that Islam is the truth because I’m almost 100% sure that they will never believe me.

What should I do about the hijab issue?
And what should I do to convince them?

Jazakallah

Answer:

`Alaykum Salam,
Wear a scarf and if she asks you to remove it then wear a head band or anything that covers hair at least partially. Always be kind to her and bring her gifts. Your patience will affect their hearts for the better in sha Allah. Pray for them and leave them to Allah Most High.
