1) Do we have the hadith indicating that Imam Mahdi (ra) will be from Ajam (India) as given in this link:

2) Are these ahadith authentic, as a Sect of India claims their leader to be the Promised Mahdi based on them?

Alaykum Salam,
Imam Mahdi is from Makka and he is a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad, upon him and his family blessings and peace. He is not from India and he is not from the `Ajam. And Allah knows best.
