Assalam aleikum,
I want to clear up some confusion regarding hijab. I have studied some basic fiqh & understand its wajib for a woman to cover her hair in front of all men except those allowed. However, I have been told by many woman our beloved Maulana Shaykh Hisham has said if it is too difficult or interferes with your job then no need. I am confident in my own hijab & understand the necessity to be gentle with new Muslims, but this is from `long time` Naqshbandi woman who have just seem to have left the hijab as an unnecessary thing, or something they wear only in front of the Shaykh. Is this OK?
Wa salam,

wa `alaykum salam,
