Asalaamu Alaikum,
My brother (36) has Hodgkins Lymphoma and has started chemo.
He seemed to be responding to treatment well until an incident happened after tahajjud. He sat making dua and felt a weight in his hands. He prayed to Allah for protection and heard a voice respond “you are protected but you must speak to your mother”. He woke my Mum, who said he must find a teacher. It happened again later. I feel he must go and see MSN in Lefke although he is not a murid, but this is a spiritual matter. I am worried as to whether he will take advice from MSN. I have never imposed my views on bayah on my family since I am the youngest and want to be respectful to my siblings and parents. I am the only murid in my family.

Tell him to recite Ya Wadud 100 times and ask support with Shafa`ah of Prophet (s) for Allah to cure him.
Continue with the physician’s recommended treatment.
