Speech Impediment (Stammering)

Question:

Assalmualikum,

I have a speech impediment (Stammer) which makes even the simplest tasks like talking on the phone or face to face conversations difficult especially during job interviews, can you please advise me off any duas wazifas or any foods I could eat to help control my speech impediment.

Answer:

a`udhu billahi min ash-shaytan ir-rajeem
Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem:

wa `alaykum salam,
Recite the following verses seven times every day and also when you have an interview or stressful situation:

Qaala rabbi ‘shrahlee sadree, wa yassirlee amree, wahlul `uqdatan min lisaanee, yafqahoo qawlee.
(Moses) said: O my Lord! Expand me my breast, ease my task for me, and remove the impediment from my speech so they may understand what I say. (Surah Taha, 20:25-28)

Also keep salawat as much as you can.

Dr. Abdul Karim
