Improvization in Delail ul khaerat

Question:

Assalam u alayekum!
1-In Delailul kherat mostly the word “salli” is used only.If one wishes to improvize it as “salli wa sallim” i.e both darood and salaam instead of only darood ,is it ok ?
2-In Darood e Taj ,isn’t it better to say “Wa fauqa Sidra-tul-muntaha maqamuhu” instead of “Wa Sidra-tul-Muntaha Maqamuhu” as Sidra-tul-Muntaha is the last limit of Gibril A.S and Our beloved Prophet Syedna Muhammad Salla’l la ho alaye hi wasallam travelled to beyond Sidra-tul-Muntaha on the night of ascension.
Shukran syyedi.

Answer:

Alaykum as-Salam,

1. It is OK but in spiritual terms our Shuyukh have told us that the Salam is in fact included in the Salat. Hence the concision of the Dala’il in that regard at times.

2. Sidratul Muntaha is one of the many superlatively lofty Maqams of the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace), so it is correct to say just as the du`a says. Maqam does not mean last limit, nor is the loftiness of that particular Maqam in any way diminished by its being accessible to Sayyidina Jibril upon him peace, since he knows better than us that that maqam was created for none other than the Prophet, upon him blessings and peace!
