Madhur or not?

Question:

Assalamo alaikum

I have a problem related to excessive flatulence and urine drops. However my problem is not constant, there are times when I can pray easily without breaking wudu but most of the time I pass wind and urine drops even in very small amounts, despite all excercises to help empty my bowel and urethra.

The problem may resolve sometimes if I wait 1-2 hours after using the bathroom but this is rare. The question is, do I count as a madhur? as it is not possible for anybody to spend so much time on a single salaah everyday, especially when the prayer timings are short.

The answers given already on this issue are very generalised and vague. I hope you can help me with this confusion as soon as possible.

JazakAllah

Answer:

Wa `alaykum salam,

You have an ‘udhr (chronic annulment of wudu‘) and being unable to stop drops of urine you should perform wudu‘ at the time of every fard prayer. You may offer with such wudu‘ as many fards or nawafil as you wish.
