From Dar al-Fatwa al-Misriyya (The Fatwa Council of Egypt):
“There is a well-known opinion that swallowing phlegm does not invalidate fasting, just as it does not invalidate prayer if swallowed in the midst of prayer.
And Allah Most High knows best”
