Please help me

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

Insha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

Continue to give small daily sadaqa and keep your ablution (wudu) as much as possible and recite hasbunallah wa ni`ama ‘l-wakeel 100x daily.

Don’t give up, but accept any job, however menial. As Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has explained, when Allah sees the servant submitting and accepting the rizq He is sending, and giving thanks, He will send more, insha-Allah.

Dream: Dream’s Validity

Dream:

Assalamualikum!

I have read that Prophet(s) has said that to tell a false dream is one of the greatest lies. This makes me scared as I doubt some dreams are just my imagination. So how can I distinguish a real dream from imagination?

My second question is that recently I had a dream. There were many nonsensical and unimportant parts except for one. I was told that “La ila ha ila anta subahanka inni kuntum minlallalimeen has many goodness”. Please help me interpret this dream and forgive me. Please pray for me to meet Imam Mahdi(as) and Isa(as) in person. I have great love for them and wish to be with them.

Jazakallah khayr!

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam,

Shaykh Hisham Kabbani has often said, there is no need to relate your dreams to others, as it is a kind of showing off.

In any case a real dream has its “stamp” of authenticity, such as seeing or hearing prophets, angels, awliyaullah, Quran, the House of Allah, masajid and so forth.

The du`a is:

La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu min azh-zhalimeen (al-Anbiya, 21:87) and truly it has many benefits.

The Prophet (s)  explaining this important du`a to one of his Companions said, “…[it is] the supplication of Dhun-Nun when he was in the belly of the fish: {There is no God but You, Glorified be You! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers} (al-Anbiya, 21:87). No Muslim ever prays to his Lord with these words for anything, but He will answer his prayer.” (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, and  an-Nasa’i in Al-Yawm wal-Laylah).

SALAWAT VASVASSA

Question:

im 18 yearsold from uk, i’ve been readin daroode khizri for about a year 10 000 timesdaily, alhamdulilla. and my problem/vasvasa is that when i read the darood shareef, i can read about 4 in one second alhamdullla. and it feels as thow imnot pronouncing it properly, Islow down but then after one tasbeeh go back tothe fastspeed, feel asthow my quality of reading darood isnot ther, and dontfeel like sending incomplete darood onthe holy Messenger salalahualeyhiwasallam, alhamdulilla the messenger of Allah salalahualeyhiwasallam lisen to our salwat but feel imnot doing the adab by readin fast, attimes ilook at my speed and be amazed that how come this fast im reading, when i ask some sufis they say the sheikhs in the past reading so fast and its thai al lisaan, but think to myself im newly baith and a sinner how can my speed go fast along with quality,

Answer:

Have patience. Please see the post,  Tay al- lisan…

`Urwah ibn Az-Zubair said:

I saw `Umar ibn al-Khattab carrying upon his shoulder a water container. I said, “O Prince of the believers, this is something which does not befit you.” He said to me: “When the delegations came to me listening and obeying, my ego felt some self-gratification, so I decided to break it.”

The same happens when the self-projected delegations of self-gratification and pride enter the heart of the servant who is trying to come closer to Allāh , through much prayers, meditation and worship during the early hours before dawn. The self projects itself to the servant in the image of a pious worshiper. This will cause him to forget his Lord and follow his desires. He will become complacent and content with his ego, the same way that Adam  felt towards the devil, and this is the hidden danger. When pleasure enters into worship, know it is due to the whispers of Satan in the heart. So, run far away from it.

If you manage to escape from such worship, you will enter into the bottomless oceans of Sayyīdinā Muħammad (s) that combine the light of the Essence and the secret which flows from the rest of the Names and Attributes. These oceans will carry you, then dip you, and then drown you in the oceans of Uniqueness. It will then lift you out of the mud of Oneness . This is what happened to Sayyīdinā Bilāl when he was being tortured. He was at the Station of Witnessing, the Station of the Gnostics, calling, “Ahad! Ahad! One! One!” After that these oceans open for you their hidden vaults, they will plunge you into the core of the ocean of Oneness, until you can no longer hear, no longer see, no longer feel anything except your Lord, your Prophet and your shaykh, who is the life of your soul and his soul, the secret of your reality and his reality, the collective accumulation of Gnostic knowledge. All this comes from breaking the ego with humbleness, as Sayyīdinā Umar ibn al-Khattāb  did.

Prayers unanswered to be loved

Request:

Assalmualaikum ,

If one has lost the love of someone so dear and but does his awrad , pray 5 times, does hajat prayers and seek support from Maulana and recites the blind man doa for forty days and wishes for that person to come back to his life would that be considered charming the person when his intention is pure as he has only love for this person.
What can else can he do to bring her back ? Iman mahdi is coming and i would like to be there for her and her family. Will the shaykhs support me or should i just accept faith and move on totally. Pls guide me.

Response:

wa `alaykum salam,

Prayers are to Allah and they cannot be “charms” or “spells”, rather they are recommended to believers to achieve their needs, hopes and desires, where Allah said: idu`nee astajib lakum – {call upon Me, I will respond.} (Ghafir, 40:60)

You may continue, knowing that either your prayers will be answered, or you will receive something better in place of what you seek or you will be rewarded in the hereafter, as narrated from Abu Sa`id (r):

The Prophet (s) said: “There is no Muslim who does not offer any du`a in which there is no sin or severing of family ties but Allah will give him one of three things in return: either He will answer his du`a sooner, or he will store it up for him in the Hereafter, or He will divert an equivalent evil away from him because of it.” They said: “We will say a lot of du`a.” The Prophet (s) said: “Allah is more generous.” (Ahmad)

Know to be hasty in du`a may result in it not being accepted. “Haste in du`a” is described in the following hadith.

It was asked, “O Messenger of God?…What does it mean to be hasty?” Prophet Muhammad responded “A worshipper says, ‘I have prayed and prayed , and I don’t yet see that it will be accepted; so he gives up hope of being answered, and leaves du`a.

Moreover Sayyidina Muhammad (s) is reported to have said, “O People! God is al-Tayyib (pure), and He only accepts that which is pure! God has commanded the Messengers, for He said, ‘O Messengers! Eat from the pure foods, and do right.’ Furthermore he said, ‘O you who believe! Eat from the pure and good foods we have given you.’ Then Prophet Muhammad (s) mentioned a traveller on a long journey, who is dishevelled and dusty, and he stretches forth his hands to the sky, saying, ‘O my Lord! O my Lord!’, While his food is unlawful, his drink is unlawful, his clothing is unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully; how can he be answered?”

It was narrated by Fadalah ibn `Ubayd (r) that The Prophet (s) heard a man making du`a after his prayer, but he did not send blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon Him). The Prophet (s) said: “This man is in a hurry.” Then he called him and said to him or to someone else: “When any one of you has finished praying (and makes du`a), let him start by praising Allah, then let him send blessings upon the Prophet (s), then after that let him ask for whatever he wants.” (Tirmidhi)

Grain-free diet and retaining food

Question:

Assalamu’alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

Thank you dear Shuyukh for giving your time to this service.

About a month ago I stopped eating grain products and found that in doing so many health symptoms (acne, rashes, etc.) finally disappeared, alhumdulillah. I believe I eat very healthy, with lots of vegetables, some fruit and meat, no sugar, little caffeine, and most everything homemade (nothing very processed or artificial). However, the past two weeks it’s like my bowels have really slowed down, causing distention and pain, keeping me in bed some days, and my eyes are very puffed, especially underneath (I’m 32). Finally, I’ve had chronically itchy and wet inner ears for 7 years and ugly and painful keloids which spontaneously formed all over my shoulders 7 years ago. No doctor of any background has been able to help.

Is there anything in traditional medicine on this?

Shukran jazeelan

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakutuh,

For fear of sounding trite, did you try to go back to eating grains again? Bread in Arabic is `aysh, which also means “life”, or, as known in the West, “the staff of life.”

You may do the common wird for Initiates until you have a chance to personally ask Mawlana Shaykh Hisham or return to visit Mawlana Shaykh Muhammad Nazim al-Haqqani.
