Broken Sky

Question:

I was walking with my friends and suddenly the sky turned black and it felt like it is going to break. Everyone was running here and there. I felt like its the last day of the world. There was something falling from the sky. I woke up with fear.

Answer:

Allah swt says:

When the heaven is cleft asunder, When the planets are dispersed, When the planets are dispersed, And the graves are overturned, A soul will know what it has sent before (it) and what it has left behind. (Surat al-Infitar, 82:1-5).

That is a warning to you and to all reading this that “the Hour has drawn nigh.” Let us take hold of each precious moment and derive heavenly benefit from it.

Do I need to do kaffarah?

Question:

AsalamuAlaykum
In the past i broke some fasts due to just feeling slightly ill but not that ill that I couldn’t continue fasting also I remember missing suhur by mistake and didn’t continue fasting. Do I need to do kafarah For each broken one?

Answer:

As-Salamu ‘Alaikum,

If you have missed any fasts out of necessity and cannot make up the missed days afterwards, you are required to pay Fidyah. For any fasts missed unnecessarily, you need to pay or fast Kaffarah. One Kaffarah will be sufficient for all missed days.

Eating too much

Question:

I saw in dream that I was eating too much. In breakfast I ate about 9 parathas (a kind of chapati) and some plates khichdi (a dish made with rice and pulses). But then also my hunger was not filled and I asked for another paratha.

Answer:

Eating a flat loaf of bread, or a loaf of pita bread in a dream means easy living or prosperity, while eating to one’s fill in a dream also represents working for one’s livelihood or recovering extra money, and Allah knows best.
