Instructions from Grand Shiekh

Assallamalikum,
I was given instructions by grand shaykh to meet someone with time and day. However when I reached there. I was not able to meet the person. I felt confused and distraught. Are my spiritual visions just imagining? Please kindly advise.

I like a guy very much and want to marry but I have never talked to him it is just one sided. I really want to talk to him to know abut him. Today I saw him in dream where I was having a random discussion with him about going to Medinah. What it means?
