Question:

Salam! Had a dream a few months ago but I keep on remembering it. I had a dream that I was either saying or thinking to myself how much I miss Allah and then I found my self next to the Prophet pbuh on my right (like a light) and they were really tall.

This dream shows the Prophet (saws) the connection and presence that draws you near to Allah. Continue to make Salawat and zikr with Allah and Prophet (saws) love in your heart.

Am I divorced or not?

I’m apart from my ex since 201_. The marriage was very dramatic and I was so depressed I basically wanted to leave this dunya, just to be rid of him. The problem although he gave talaq numberous times,(my parents witnessed), he never made it official…

In this case you need to seek the verdict of an Islamic scholar.

Question:

Salaam Sheikh,
I have recently lost my imaan. I fell in love with a Christian. Instead of trying to convert him I lied to him about how I feel. I was confused. I normally never lie. I live in regret. I need him and I need my iman. Help me. Did I do wrong?

Wa alaikum Salaam,

We are living in a time as described by the Prophet (peace be upon him) that to hold your deen would be like holding on to a hot coal. However, if we know with certainty that we are holding on to something more precious than the most rare diamond, it eases the pain and gives us the strength to move on in the path of Allah. As human beings we are going to follow the way of the one we love. If the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is granted to our hearts, we will be inclined to love what he loves and dislike what he dislikes which will ultimately be to our success and happiness. If the love of people, wealth, etc. competes with the love of the Prophet (peace be upon him) we will find our hearts confused and our life will reflect this. Try to follow the way in which your heart will find peace, security and Divine Love to achieve the best of this life and the hereafter.

A brother who is struggling…

Prayer Request:

I often talk to a brother called [private], but I am too weak to offer him all the help he needs. I make Dua for him but I want him to be better. He smokes and wants to quit, he is very lonely and has/is be tortured, and is now on psychiatic stuff he not need.

Answer:

May Allah for the sake of His love of His Prophet and with the prayers of our beloved Awliyaullah help you and your brother. Remember that all tests of this life end, since life itself is just a journey. With each situation you will be rewarded according to your intention in this world or the next for sure. You both have to show patience and perseverance and do the best for the day it comes. Leave the rest to Allah and continue your dua as well as his medications. All our prayers are with you, too. Ameen.

Dream: Sunni Syrians will take over Al-Aqsa

Question:

Salam, I was riding a weird motorbike in what seemed like a mountain in a desert area, when I reached the end I got off the bike and I jumped from the edge but I had a mini helicopter that floated me all the way down safely, I entered a place and saw Mawlana Shaykh Nazim praying and someone else but after he finished he left and I didn’t know who he was. Mawlana said to me in a rushed way that the Sunni Syrians will take over Al Aqsa. What does this mean? Jazakallah khrayn.

Answer:

Alaykum salam,
It means your belief goes through rough patches and dry spells but will not crash thanks to Mawlana’s baraka. Sayyidina Isa (a) is from Ahlus Sunna and from Sham but it does not add to his honor. Rather, Ahlus Sunna are honored by the fact they love and believe in him and Sham is honored by his being born there and returning there again at the end of time.

Dream of beautiful girl who was a Sufi

Question:

I was looking for Sufism, I found a girl after some asking, she was beautiful, she had Golden-yellow eyes and told me she was Sufi, after our conversation, she walked away and her scarf went halfway, underneath was golden hair in a design

Answer:

It means tasawwuf is the way of beauty. By following it, Allah and His Prophet’s (saws) beauty will be revealed to you. This is a knowledge and vision which cannot be revealed without following the way of tazkiyya, purification.

Dream within dream in Ramadhan 2014

Question:

I saw Bibi Hajrah wearing a white hijab and she looked a bit old. Also felt like Hazrat Ibrahim was nearby but didnt see him. Bibi was dying or lying down in desert. I felt scared. Raising 1 finger to sky she said “Tawakkal Allah.” I woke up from dream to first dream & my left foot was on my right & vice versa. Me & mum scream but then feet make strange noise & return to normal.

Answer:

In sha Allah you and your mother or someone close will go to Hajj as Bibi means our mother Hajar and the feet means Zamzam. Allah knows best.

Please pray for my grandma

Would you please pray for my grandmother who is in critical condition because of cancer? She supported several children in Tanzania for over ten years from only her pension, so please pray that Allah extend her time and make her a believer.
