On whether Maryam (as) married

Question:

Assalamualaikum Shaykh,

Did Maryam (as) married Joseph the carpenter, had children and have living descendants? Thank you.

Answer:

Waalaykumussalam warahmatullah,
There is no mention of marriage to my knowledge but al-Tha`labi cites from Wahb b. Munabbih (who relates from the Israelites) that Yusuf al-Najjar (Joseph the carpenter) took her to Egypt. As for the children other than `Isa their traditions cite that they were from a previous marriage, not borne by Maryam, upon them peace.

Kissing of the thumbs during khutbah of jummah

Question:

Assalaamualaikum,
Someone told me that during the second azaan when the imam is on the mimbar he should not kiss his thumbs when he hears the name of RassoolAllah swalAllahu alaihi wa sallam.
What is the ruling of this?
Can you please clarify me on this.

It is a fadila (meritorious deed) done as an expression of love and respect for the Seal of Prophets, upon him blessings and peace

My first I was in a gathering of Musa he ordered people to apprehend me I ran till I climbed over a gate. Then another vision starts I’m back at the same gathering I look to my left and see prophet Muhammad and he was looking towards Musa. Same night.

Crying in Masjid al Nabawi (s)

Question:

(I am a single woman). an hour before fajr I went to the Prophets mosque. I didn’t do ablution. I went inside and cried. There weren’t many people (about 50) inside. And there was a Qur’an stand in the middle of the room.

Answer:

You have the reward of fifty Sahaba for your enduring steadfastness on belief in Allah and the Prophet in these times in sha Allah. Trust in Allah and continue with your good works.

Elephant in dream after istiqhara

I am doing istiqhara for an alliance I have got. She is divorced twice and has a boy child. I also got divorced Recently. In dream once saw an auliya’s mazar being shifted (day 1). Then only elephants are coming in dream regularly. Please guide.

i see a shadow moving. first i assume that the shadow is one of my friend but suddenly all my friends appear from the back and we all get really afraid. suddenly i close my eyes and very loudly and ground shakingly recite the first kalima.
