Guidance on Bayyah

Question:

Salam, shaykhs.
I’m a new a murid of Lokman Hoja Effendi of the Osmanli Naksibendi way. Lately however, I’m feeling unsure of my bayyah. I sometimes feel I made the wrong decision by giving bayyah. I know that many of the shaykhs have had their differences with Sh.Abdul Kerim effendi, so I would like an objective answer. Should I continue to be murid of Lokman effendi? I feel as though he isn’t the right murshid for me, although I have tremendous respect for him. (it is important to note I’m a twelver Shia, and I dont feel at home with him). What should I do? Should I change murshids? Is that possible? If so, then who? I live in Bangladesh, so it is difficult.

Prayer Request: Need My Soul Mate

Assalamu Alakium. My name is [private] Allah gave happiness in My life and same time tears also. Allah gave good parents and sibling. A person in my life his name [private]. We were in good relationship. I don’t know what happened to him. He is not talking to me and responding to anything if I call also he is disconnecting. I wanna marry him. Please if I did anything wrong forgive me. I want him in my life he gave all happiness to me but suddenly a different change from him because of Shatan. I want him in my life please he has to talk with me normally. Am not able to concentrate in anything my work and with parents. Am getting bad name from work location. Please Allah save me and get back my [private]. I hope he will come back to me with good mind.

Prayer Request: Searching for a life partner

Request:

I cannot find a suitable life partner. If I like a proposal, the marriage does not go ahead for one reason or another or the other person does not like me. However, those proposals that I don’t like always want to get married to me which upsets me as I really don’t like them and can’t bring myself to marry them. This has been happening for over 15 years.
Could the Sheikh please do a prayer for me and advise on what I should read to find a suitable life partner.

Marriage

Question:

Asslamo-Alykum. Mery mangeter ne mujh se contact kerna chor diya hai. Aur uski family ye rishta bhi nai rakhna chati ik dum sab khrab ho rha hai mujhy nai pata kyon meri walda ka bhi intaqal ho chuka hai me bht preshan hoon please mujhy koi wazifa bata dein k wo mujh se rabta bi kerien aur jald us jald nikah le lein. Mera naam [private] hai Walda ka nam [private] hai. LAdky ka nam [private] aur uski walda ka nam [private] hai.

Translation:

As-salamu `alaykum. My fiance stopped talking with me and his family does not want to keep our relationship. All of the sudden everything is going bad and I do not know why. My mother passed away already and I am extremely worried, please let me know some wazifa (awrad) so that they (my fiance & his family) start contacting me and he will marry me as soon as possible. My name is [private], my mother name is [private], my fiance name is [private] and his mother name is [private].

Adab of visiting maqam or mazar

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum, what are adabs of visiting maqam of an awlia? And what are adab of visiting ones relative or parents grave?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

You may use the Adab of visiting Sayyidina Muhammad (s) in Madina al-Munawwarah from the Naqshbandi Awrad book when visiting the awliya, and add to the greeting, as-salamu `alayk ya <name>.

For visiting parents, address them with love and kindness, tell them how you are and the rest of the family, as they hear and gift them the recitation of Surah Yaseen and Surat al-Mulk (after first gifting to Sayyidina Muhammad (s) and our mashaykh), and make whatever duas for them you like.

in nutshell I am from India and I have strong feelings of a Pakistani naat reciter.The problem is that I have only twitter contact with him he doesnt know me at all but I love him soooo much.He is very famous in field and many girls love him.what to do now need ur help.Here I mention that he is strongly religious and from ahle sunnah while I am a wahaabi. Quarter-life Crisis as A Young Woman

Assalamualaykum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh Maulana..

I am a 23-year old woman and I live with my mother. My father had passed away, my sister’s already married, I am still single and now I am responsible to support my family financially. For some, I feel like against myself because I want to stay at home to follow what have been told in Al-Quranul Kareem (33:32) – while at the same time I know I should make money (I still am confused what kind of company I should go). For some, I still keep my dream to pursue Master Degree abroad. And, I want to have time attending Majlis Dzikr as routine. I honestly helpless with what I really want and care/passionate about my career path. Ya Maulana Shaykh Hisyam, please make dua for me. Please grant me your advice of what I should do, Ya Maulana.
