Karamat al-Awliya

Question:
Assalamu ‘alaikum wa rahmatullah wa Eid Mubarak dear Sheikh,
I’ve been researching the following issue quite a bit but have not found anything that convincingly answered my question.
In the Holy Qur’an, it mentions that Allah only discloses the unseen to one He approves of and that is a messenger (rasul) إلا من ارتضى من رسول.
How does one reconcile what is stated in the verse with the sound reports of awliya being given knowledge of the unseen?
BaarakALLAH feekum wa jazaakum khair al-jazaa,
Wassalaam,
Answer:
Alaykum Salam,
No wali gets anything except it is counted as a branch of the mu`jizaat of the Prophet whose Umma the wali is part of. So the karamat of the knowledge of the unseen for the Awliya of this Umma are all part of the Prophet’s knowledge. We have heard this many times from Mawlana Shaykh Nazim and our Shuyukh in Sham. May Allah bless them and forgive us.
