Man or universe?

My question was based on two Ayat ul Quran that I read and I’m looking for a better understanding. The following is not the exact ayat but what I have understood.

1. The children of Adam have been honoured over most of Allah swt creation but not all.

2. The creation of man is not as great as the creation of the heavens and the earth.

How do I reconcile this understanding with the fact that Rasulullah (saw) is khayril khalq and that the heart of men can contain the whole universe and some reports say that qalb ul mumin arshullah, as Mawlana has also mentioned these before.

wa `alaykum salam,

The apparent conflict is resolved if we understand that the secret which Allah Most High has created in the human being, namely the heart of our Prophet Muhammad (upon him blessings and peace) which carries what all creation cannot carry, constitutes the secret of khilafa for which the angels were ordered to bow down. This is the meaning of the believer being more honorable than even the Ka`aba, and the Prophet upon him blessings and peace being superior even to the Throne and the Seven Heavens.
