When to read awrad and sunnah prayers

Question:

Asalaamaliakum,

I have 2 quick questions. When is the best time to read the daily awrad i.e. when does Shaykh Muhammad Hisham Kabbani read it? For example the night of Jumaah precedes the day of Jumaah. So Friday would start on Thursday at maghrib time and finish at maghrib time on Friday. Should we read it at the start of the day; so for Friday would be after maghrib on Thursday?

2)When Magrib adhan is read 2 sunnat rakats are read prior to 3 Farz.Is it permissible to read 2 sunnah rakats after every adhan?
i.e: Fajr (2 sunnat, 2 sunnat,2 farz),

Zuhr (2 sunnat,4 sunnat, 4 farz, 2 sunnah),

Asr (2 sunnat,4 sunnat,4 farz),

Maghrib (2 sunnat, 3 Farz, 2 Sunnah),

Isha(2 sunnat,4 sunnat,4 farz, 2 sunnat, 3 witr). Or do the prayers with sunnah read first include this 2 sunnah i.e. Asr would be (4 sunnat,4 farz). If so, do we need to make multiple intention so 2 sunnah for the adhaan and 4 for asr prayer and just read the 4 sunnat. What is the intention we should make when reading the 2 sunnah prior to maghrib also. Jazakallah

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

At the start of the day or any time in the 24 hours at your convenience is fine for Awrad. For non-fard prayers there is no need to specify niyyah beyond “I intend to pray for Allah Most High” and the post-adhan prayer is included in the pre-fard Sunnah, it is not an additional one.
