Going to collective zikr

As salam aleykoum wa rahmatullah wa barakatouh

Peace be upon sayddina Muhammed our beloved Prophet , on mawlana Sheikh Nazim and his khalifas.

Sheikh, on a former question regarding collective zikr, I have been told to go to the nearest center, even if it is far. I sure wish to join an official zikr center , but the nearest one is in Jakarta, which means I must take plane every week and I’m afraid not being able to afford that.

So how can I do? I think being able to come once a month, but it is certainly not enough. What should I do? Should I come every week regardless of my budget? (knowing that I must marry soon and settle in a new house with my wife insha Allah.).

Should I make collective zikr at home when I can’t come to Jakarta?

Barakallahou fik.

Answer:

Shaykh Hisham says, “Try to come once a month to the collective dhikr. You may recite it at home the other weeks.”
