Assalamu alaikum.

Could Sidi Gibril Haddad please advise about the soundness of the articles and replies on the website, written by Shaykh Abu Adam?

JazakAllah khair.

wa `alaykum salam,

I do not know Shaykh Abu Adam personally, and this is a brief bio from the website:

“Shaykh Abū Ādam converted from christianity to Islām in 1992. He has since studied and received Ijāzahs in various works of Hanafī fiqh and Ash’ari `Aqīdah from various mashāyikh, including :

Al-Shaykh Muhammad Tāhir Al-Afghānī (Abu Al-Hasan)

Al-Shaykh Mustafā Chebaro (a student of Al-Shaykh `AbdurRazzāq Al-Halabī)

Al-Shaykh Imād Nahlāwī

Al-Shaykh Ahmad Al-Shāmī (Shihāb Al-Dīn Abu `Amr)

Shaykh Muhammad Jumu’ah (one of the prominent students of Mawlānā Al-Shaykh `AbdurRazzāq Al-Halabī).”

His teachers are well-known scholars of the Sham ash-Sharif, Sunni Ash`ari in `Aqidah and Hanafi in Fiqh. His works defend the true creed of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jama`ah, against the fitna of the Wahabi-Salafis. He has translated two traditional texts on Islamic creed that you can download:

The Creed of Al Tahawi

A Commentary on the Creed of Al Sanusi

May Allah reward him for his contribution to the Ummah of the Prophet (s) and grant us beneficial knowledge!

Abdul Shakur
