I tried many times to sleep little And I sleep around 7 hours in average. I tried to sleep consecutively for 4-5 hours a day, and I can do it, but after 4-5 days my body totally collapses on me, and the next day I go to sleep, I don’t wake up until sometimes 9-10 hours of sleep. And its not laziness in my part, I just don’t hear the alarm I set up, sometimes even my wife will have to try waking me up for 1-2 hour until I hear or feel anything from her. Sometimes she will be yelling at me and poking me, but I still don’t hear or feel anything. My body just totally collapses, and I can’t do anything.
My question; How can I sleep less without my body collapsing on me, because I want to take up on the valuable advices of our Prophet(saw).
