Dream:
Assalaamou aliaikoum
I thank you loads for your prompt response. Thou I want to know why I used to get clear dreams often, especially when I do my prayers (well sincerely I don’t do the 5 times prayers and I’m conscious that its the key to paradise).
As last night itself, I dreamed of my late grandpa. He was suffering in bed because in the room there was a silver ring with a Saphire stone, and it was this ring which made him sick. He wanted to make duas on him, I cried for my mum to make it but in vain, he left dunya in my arms.
I know it seems amazing, that I can remember each detail of the dream, but thats the way, my dreams are!
Once again do thank you loads.

A`oodhu Billahi min ash-Shaytaani ‘r-rajeem Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem
That dream means, and Allah knows best, that your grandfather was a very beloved man to Allah, swt. The bed represents the station of closeness, for who did the Prophet put in his bed, except “one beloved to Allah and to His Prophet(s)” who is Sayyidina `Ali (r)? And the silver ring, since wearing it is from the sunnah, represents his closeness to the Prophet (s) while the sapphire represents the dunya. His illness means desiring to be with the Prophet (s) and in the Divine Presence and to leave dunya.
That love for Allah and Prophet attracted him so much to the afterlife. His death in your arms is to “die before you die”, which means he attained the station of a true servant of Allah, and since he died in your arms, he is bequeathing to you the secret of that attainment and hoping you will care for it as is meant. This dream should encourage to more worship and less desire for dunya enjoyment and more focus on akhira.
w ‘Allahu `alam.
