Dream: The pigeon

Dream:

Asalamu’lekum
I was walking in a downtown area with tall buildings around… I also couldn’t see anybody around me….so while walking this flying bird, a pigeon, lands on my right shoulder and I was suprised but just kept on walking. So it starting speaking to me and says “do you know what Allah(SWT) said about the 7th or 17 (I think it was the 7th century ALLAHUA’LAM) century europeans then it spoke in Arabic( I don’t speak Arabic) and translated it in English….so it flew away and I kept on walking. Then it came back and lands again on my right shoulder and speaks in Arabic and again translates it to English. I haven’t memorized the Quran yet but inshallah I will. jazakullakhair

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam!

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

Allahumma salli `ala Sayyidina Muhammad wa `ala alihi wa sahibi wa sallam!

Madad ya Sayyidi! I am asking your holy support for this matter, and every matter in my life.  I can’t help or advise anyone, except with your help!

Always we are between two possibilities – either we are with our Lord, or we are with our egos, and his helper, Shaytan.  We must, all of us, be alert to know which is which.  Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Allah ta`ala grants him endlessly, and grants us from his knowledge and his love always, said that in these difficult times, there is a huge power loaded onto a very simple dhikr. Say, “Rabbun’Allah!  husbun’Allah!” at least 100 times a day, and more if you like.  Allah ta`ala keeps you and me and all of us safe, here and hereafter.

He knows best.
