Aslamalaykum Maulana Shaykh Hisham,
I wanted to go dhikr but my father stopped me saying he didn’t want me to go. Please do dua to Allah to guide my whole family, what do i do? Me and my mother spoke to him and inshallah i will be able to go from now on but some of the things he said have scared me.
Shiekh I asked him to marry me to a girl for religious reasons he refused and ultimately would rather turn a blind eye to things until I have finished university. Please do dua that I am successful in fulfilling his ambitions as I am scared he will use failure ie in uni as ammunition against my following of Islam. Please do dua I become a better mureed a better son a better Muslim. I also wanted to know if you could name me?
