Answer:

`Alaykum as-Salam,

According to Dr. `Abd al-`Alim al-Bastawi in his 430-page book al-Mahdi al-Muntazhar (see on this book this post:https://eshaykh.com/hadith/about-imam-mahdi/) there are eight Prophetic hadiths meeting the two criteria you mentioned, namely a minimum grade of fair (hasan) and explicit mention of al-Mahdi:

(1) From `Ali b. Abi Talib (Allah ennoble his coutenance), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “The Mahdi is from us, the People of the House, and Allah shall prepare him in a single night.” (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Ibn Abi Shayba and others)

(2) From Ibn Mas`ud (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “When the black standards approach from Khurasan, come to them, for among them is the caliph of Allah, al-Mahdi.” (ِAbu al-Fath al-Azdi in al-Du`afa’)

(3) From Abu Sa`id al-Khudri (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “At the end of times the Mahdi shall come out. Allah shall water him with rain, the earth shall sprout its greenery, he shall distribute wealth fairly, livestock will be abundant and the Ummah will magnify, he will live seven or eight years.” (al-Hakim)

(4) From Abu Sa`id al-Khudri (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “Al-Mahdi is from me, with a broad forehead and prominent nose. He will fill the earth with equity and justice just as it had been filled with injustice and crime. He will rule for seven years.” (Abu Dawud, al-Hakim)

(5) From Abu Sa`id al-Khudri (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “There will be in my Ummah al-Mahdi whether he lives a long or a short life. He will live seven or eight or nine years. He will fill the earth with equity and justice. The land will bring out its vegetation and the sky will pour down its rain.” (Ahmad, Ibn Abi Shayba)

(6) From Jabir (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “`Isa b. Maryam shall descend then their leader al-Mahdi shall say: ‘Come and pray as our imam’ but he shall reply: ‘No, let one of them be their leader,’ as a Divine honor for this Ummah.” (al-Harith b. Abi Usama)

(7) From Thawban (Allah be well-pleased with him), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “There will be a battle at the site of your treasure between three parties, all of them sons of a different caliph but none will prevail. Then the black pavilions will rise from the east and they will massacre you in an unprecedented way among any nation.” Thawban said: “Then he said something that I cannot remember.” Then he continued: “When you hear of him go to him and pledge him your allegiance even if you have to crawl over ice, for truly he is the caliph of Allah, the Mahdi.” (Ibn Majah, al-Hakim, al-Dani, al-Bayhaqi, Abu Nu`aym)

(8) From Umm Salama (Allah be well-pleased with her), from the Prophet (upon him and his family blessings and peace): “Al-Mahdi is from my close kin (`itra), from the children of Fatima.” (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, al-Hakim and others)

He mentions eleven more reports which he considers either sahih or hasan, from Companions or Successors. These also have the status of Prophetic reports as agreed upon in hadith science, since they would not be reporting this from their own reasoning, and Allah Most High knows best.
