Yes, it is allowed in the understanding of the values of believers, i.e. with restraint and mutual respect. The sports and physical skills practiced and recommended by the Holy Prophet, upon him blessings and peace, were all related to military training, such as archery, camel and horse racing, sword and spear among other weapon training, hunting (including tracking game and scouting), running, swimming and wrestling. All these sports and activities are part of the Prophetic Sunnah. See more here:
