I seek from Allah SWT for you and your loved ones all blessings that Prophet SAW sought from Allah Azza wa Jalla. I ask Allah to protect you and your loved ones from all that the Prophet SAW sought protection from. Aameen.
My master when I read that Syedna Ali Raday Allahu anhu‘s army refused to obey him at the battle of Siffin, I became very disturbed.
My master my heart is ashamed to face the Prophet SAW ever since I read the account of Karbala which took place within fifty years of the wisaal of Prophet SAW.
How do we approach and understand these events? These are accounts of the sahaba, the tabaeen and the taba tabaeen Raday Allahu anhum. Mawlana what of us-already so weak and ignorant? What do we do to protect our leaders, the ahl-ul-bait, from ourselves, our ignorance? Is there something we can recite?
Mawlana, I made the mistake of reading a book on history by a non-Muslim author who did not speak well of the ummul-mumeneen and sahaba Raday Allahu anhum. These bad thoughts flit through my mind especially when praying. How do I get rid of these harmful thoughts? Meded Ya Sayyidi.
