About Hard Situation: Transexual

Question:

I have a long talk with a woman about Islam. She made ​​the shahada, and after a while told me that once she changed her sex, so then came the head. She was once a man and is now is a “woman”. Should she live as a woman or a man from now on? I remember that within the Shari’a cosmetic surgery should not be done and when it does the shahada is clean of all their sins, if by this reasoning  would she be a woman? Can she marry a man? I need this answer as she prays with women here.

If physical characteristics and self-identity (how a person identifies
themselves) are mostly feminine then the person is a woman.

Dream: Shaykh Hisham

Dream:

Salam alaykoum,

Thank you a lot for the time you are taking time answering and helping others. Jazakoum Allah khayran.

I regularly download and follow the khutba of M Sheikh Hisham although am not a mureed of the tariqa and didn’t take bay’a. I appreciate him a lot al hamdu lillah wa hafidhakum wa hafidhahu allah.

I sometimes dream of MSH and in this last dream he appears to me letting me know that Rahmatu Ennabi Mohamed (pbuh) is descending. At that moment it was so clear, a haqiqa coming from him personally.

I wish I had the opportunity to attend physically his courses.

Muliple Dreams, Isthikhara

Question:

Istikhara for guy. 1st dream: I need to go to the Imam (I am Sunni, the guy is Shia). My aunts are with me so I lie saying I’m meeting friend. They mention the guy & I deny its him and that I am not in contact with him, but I see myself talking and meeting him. 2nd dream: I see the guy lying next to me with finger in my mouth checking my teeth. Another istikhara: 1st dream distracted by a servant and I say to him leave me I need to read tasbih.

I can not 100% interpret the dreams I asked God to show me what God has in store about this guy who I love and want to marry as there are many issues. He is almost engaged, we liked each other but due to religious diff he said his family won’t agree.

Kindly help me, I will be much obliged.

It’s a complicated situation as you say he is almost engaged to someone else and already told you his family will not accept you. Is he committed to you and overcoming his family’s resistance? What about your parents’ opinion? Try to figure things out more in practical terms for such an important decision.

The Walking Stick

I would be grateful if you can inform us about the walking Stick of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon them).
– the length/size, thickness
– colour
– how many did they have
– when did they carry it (times or/and days)
– how did they carry it
– what did they use it for
etc. Also, about the walking sticks of the blessed companions.
I have been trying to find out the above, but without any luck.

Chest pain during meditation

Is it normal to feel chest pain or pinches in both chest at certain times during meditation?

Salaam walikum please I write to u again for your help I’m still being oppressed bullied blackmailed violently abused and made into a slave by these people I am reciting what you told me to but it keeps getting worse now I am forced to do a major fraud and drug deal they have my family’s details so I can’t run from them please help me I am losing patience after this I will turn to extreme measures.

Family problems

Question:

Salam Mawlana Shaykh
I know what Islam says about mothers, but my mother is an alcoholic. She uses favoritism with her kids and is mentally, physically and emotionally abusive. For the past few years I suffered depression, nervous breakdown and many failures because I couldn’t focus always trying to find what is wrong with me. All her friend think I am a bad daughter because she always speaks ill of me, she never has anything to say about me regardless of the fact that I went to college to make HER happy. She believes it is okay for me to prostitute so I can make money so I can buy her a house because that will make her happy. My heart is telling me to move out and decrease communication with her but not cut ties because Islamically it is wrong. Can I move out on my own? Thank you

Answer:

You are not obligated to stay in your mom’s home nor are you required to let her control your life. This is what Allah (swt) told us in His Noble Qur’an:

But if they (both) strive with you to make you join in worship with Me others that of which you have no knowledge, then obey them not, but behave with them in the world kindly, and follow the path of him who turns to Me in repentance and in obedience. Then to Me will be your return, and I shall tell you what you used to do. (Luqman, 31:15)

Cutting nails

Question:

Aslamalaykum Shaykh Hisham

Can you cut your finger nails anywhere, any day and any time? My mum says you should not cut nails in the house or on a Tuesday as its bad manners or bad luck. Is this just part of Pakistani culture ?

Answer:

The hadith recommends/orders that nails should be cut on Friday: “He who cuts his nails on Friday will be in Allah’s protection for the following week.” In the rest of the hadith’s text there is no mention of prohibition to cut nails on Tuesday.
