Dream: Two Small and White Bird Eggs

Dream:

Interested in boy, They were old neighbors when I was little girl.
Saw two small, white bird eggs hatching. Put birds in box. Went into house. Saw [private] his younger brother. Ahmed was speaking at table, my friends sat around him, impressed. I was looking at [private] to see if he’d look, he didn’t. Pretended to look at birds, jealous that girls looking at him.
Struck 9 o’clock, Ahmed saw me, told guests he needs to leave. A bad uncle comes to ask his number, persuading to give it. “Why?”
“So I can stay in touch and call your dad.” [private] saw me, I signaled “Say No.” He listened to me. Uncle angrily left.
Dream ended. They visited us after 18 yrs, everyone got along nicely! They want older sister married first then him. Don’t know if they are interested in me, but seemed like it.

Increased Himmah and Love

As-Salaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh

1. How do we increase our himmah?especially towards spiritual matters and practices

2. also,how do we increase and strengthen our love towards Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala and His Beloved Sayyidina Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi wa Sallam and our beloved Shaykh Sultanul Awliyah?Should we recite anything to assist in developing this love rapidly or how do we do it?

Increase love by reciting Allahs’ Own Words, the Holy Qur’an, by making excessive salawat on the Prophet (s), and/or by reciting Dala’il al-Khayrat. Judgement Day, Hazrat Adam (as)

Question:

As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatahu...Can you please tell me on judgement day we will be called by our mothers / fathers name? Since hazrat Adam doesn’t have a mother or father how will he be called by Allah Ta’ala on Judgement day? I would appreciate if you could answer this question with hadith references and Qur’an Ayats.

Answer:

Alaykum as-Salam,
“Son of” is known as a patronymic (kunya) but “Father of” is also a kunya, hence Adam (upon him peace) is known as “Father of Mankind” (Abu al-Bashar) on earth and “Father of Muhammad” (Abu Muhammad) in Paradise as narrated by Ibn `Asakir from Ghalib b. `Abd Allah al-`Uqayli as mentioned by al-Suyuti in al-Durr al-Manthur under verse 2:37.

HPV Vaccine

Question:

Assalamu aleikum,

Before we got married my husband was sexually active with other women who had also been sexually active. I am 26 years old and would like to get the three HPV vaccine doses. Can you please advise me as to whether this is a good or bad idea deeniyan? I do not trust much of modern medicine and I believe it can causes more damage and side effects. Is Maulana against vaccines?

Insha-Allah Mawlana Shaykh Hisham Kabbani is praying for you.

At the end of the day you are the one who has to decide because life and death, disease and health are in Allah’s Hands. Mawlana certainly does not like the way vaccinations are pushed as the solution to every imaginable illness, but it doesn’t mean he is absolutely opposed to them. Just ask, were his children and grandchildren immunized?

Harut and Marut

Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Shaykh,

I want asked story about angel of harut and marut…..I really confused story about angel harut and marut….why Allah send them to the world.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Allah answered your question in the Holy Qur’an. Allah informs us in Surat al-Baqara 2:102, that those who learned magic were first warned that if they did so, they would commit unbelief and destroy their afterlife in exchange for the benefit in this worldly life, “And vile was the price for which they did sell their souls, if they but knew!”. So many people did so, knowing they had sold their souls. May Allah protect us all from that.

Ibn Kathir, in his Tafsir says:

Sunayd said that Hajjaj said that Ibn Jurayj commented on this Ayah (2:102), “No one dares practice magic except a disbeliever. As for the fitnah, it involves trials and freedom of choice.” The scholars who stated that learning magic is disbelief relied on this ayah for evidence. They also mentioned the hadith that Abu Bakr Al-Bazzar recorded from `Abdullah, which states, “Whoever came to a soothsayer or a sorcerer and believed in what he said, will have disbelieved in what Allah revealed to Muhammad (s).” This Hadith has an authentic chain of narration and there are other Hadiths which support it.

And this is not different than other tests in this life, by which Allah checks our faith, for tests often involve a choice between that which is prohibited or disliked by our Lord and that which is permitted or encouraged. Other tests involve making the best moral choice.

Concerning a Chinese murid’s baya

I made baya with Mawlana Nazim through reciting the baya text Which one of my friend had shared to me on Janary 7th 2011.The people around me thought this way of baya was invalid and dis-exist.They think that one must make baya with his shaykh hand in hand and face to face.I’m confusing often.plz tell me what answer i should give me and them.Does mawlana nazim knew me a weak murid?I can’t visit mawlana,can i call to him?
Forgive my impolite and rude.May allah give mawlana nazim and shaykh hisham good health and long life!AMIN!

Your baya` is valid and accepted insha-Allah, according to the instructions of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Follow the instructions sent to you about keeping the daily awrad and you will begin to move forward in the Way of Allah.

Don’t worry about making a telephone call to the Shaykh. He has millions of murids, all around the world, most of whom have not met with him personally nor spoken with him, but he connects with each and every one of them daily. Call to him through your heart, you will get a response.

Divorce or wait for him?

Question:

salamaleikom, I married 7 months ago. He left his town to come to live with me,since then he came he changed a lot. Was very aggressive,he had some intimacy difficulties,no job,always watching movies and computer. He wanted to work with shatzu massage but i asked him not to do to women,since he made me jealous of his many ex girlfriends. He never cut with some . Now he left me, went back to his town telling me I am too much rigid. He wants to be free to smoke marijuana, have friendship with ex girlfriends,and work doing shatzu massage also to women. I love him a lot but i think drugs and bad friends are confusing him and separating us. His mother committed suicide when he was 3 years old. I love him and hope he can come back to me,but he is confused and want to divorce. Should I wait for him? Thanks a lot,pray for us!!

Recite Ya Fattah, Ya Karim for forty days to the intention of improvement or change. If no improvement you should move on. Allah Most High revealed to the Holy Prophet, upon him blessings and peace, {Truly you cannot guide those whom you love, it is Allah Who guides whoever He wills}.

Naming a child, Patience

Salaam alaykum
Which of Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’la’s names are impermissible to use for a child? And are Rahman + Raheem included?

Also, how can I stop getting irritated at youngsters? For example, they lack knowledge and say annoying things like ‘we aint sunni or shia we are just Muslim’.. I get easily annoyed when they say things like this – i want to be more patient and calm, how can I do this?

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

The baby name should be meaningful. The names Rahman & Raheem are acceptable as long as they don’t come with definitive article Al. The Prophet (S) suggested Abdullah and Abdur Rahman. He said: “Keep the names of the blessed Prophets, Allah loves most the names Abdullah and Abdur Rahman. The most truthful names are Harith and Humam, while the most disliked are Harb and Murra (war and bitter)”.

To avoid anger of this kind remember that the Satan is trying to provoke those who are valuable to rob them. Don’t let him win over you and keep reciting Ya Haleem as much as possible.

Hesitance & Waswas

Question:

assalamu’alaikum…selama ini saya sering ragu atau tepatnya was-was dalam melaksanakan ibadah, saya sadar ini adalah gangguan syaithan namun saya tidak kuat untuk mengatasinya. hal ini sudah terjadi selama bertahun tahun, mohon kiranya saya diberikan solusi agar hidup saya dapat menikmati indahnya ibadah tanpa was-was ini.

Translation:

Assalaamu’alaykum…. I’ve been hesitant in conducting my worship so far. I realize that it’s nothing but Shaytan way to distract me, yet I can’t help overcoming it. It’s been continuously happening for years…. Would you please advice me to savour the magnificence of worshiping without hesitance.

Answer:

Alaykum as-Salam,
Make a point of praying in congregation (jamaa) as the congregation carries that burden for you. Let your regular and constant dhikr be Astaghfirullah. In sha Allah your condition will improve.
