Dream: Woman given as a gift by Ahlul Bayt

Dream:

AssalaamuAlaykum YaSayedi,

Earlier this year I did istikara for marriage and in my dream I saw a living awliyah of Allah who is also a direct descendant of RasoolAllah (sws). This awliyah gave me a girl as a gift (I was NOT doing istikara about this girl). I assumed the dream meant this girl is a gift from the household of RasoolAllah (sws) and so I accepted it. However, when I asked for marriage the girl said no. Recently I saw her in my dreams and she was sitting next to me and after a short while our forearms were touching and we got closer. I remember it felt perfect at the time.

What do these dreams mean and what should I do with regards to her especially since she has said no? My name is [private] and hers is [private].

Du`a during Sajdah

Question:

Assalamoualaikoum shuyukhs,

I have a question with regards to asking duah in sajdah during salaat.
When you ask duah in sajdah, can u ask duah in English in the following?

1) in the sunnah prayer. for example in the last sajdah of the sunnah for fajr
2) in the nawafil prayers such as tahajjud, chaaast, haajat

wa `alaykum salam,
1. In the actual state of prescribed prayers such as sunnah prayer of Fajr it is sunnah to glorify Allah (SWT) in Arabic as the Prophet did (Subhaana Rabbiyal-A’laa).

2. Other than in the state of prescribed prayers there is no restriction to ask in any language for what you need.

Help with Marriage

Question:

Assalam O Alaikum
I got nikah, my wife wants to file divorce after 2 years of relationship. I am still trying to convince her and I want her to be with her. I don’t want to have a breakup.
Please pray for me & guide me to be with her.

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,
Khula` is the right of women in Islam to get divorce or separation from her husband. In the situation where a woman can no longer remain in the marriage of her husband and all attempts to save the marriage have failed, the solution would be for her to obtain a divorce from the husband.

However, the lexical definition of khula` as explained by the famous Hanafi mujtahid, Ibn Humam is as follows:

“To remove the union of marriage in exchange of a financial settlement with the words of khula`.” (Ibn Humam, “Fath al-Qadir“, 3/1999).

It should also be remembered that a khula` agreement can only be carried out with the consent of the husband. The wife does not have the jurisdiction to enforce khula` without the consent of her husband. This is an agreed upon ruling in all of the four Sunni schools of Islamic law.

Prayer Request: My son wants to change

Assalaamoaliykum,
My son struggling to leave behind him a path of darkness. He is 38 now Alhamdolillah, but every time he tries to climb out of the well, he slips or gets dragged back down, he never gets the right support. Despite his good intentions, there always seems to be a block. He wants to get married, his 3rd attempt, but even that is delayed. Pls make dua, and if there is anything we can do break through the barriers, pls tell us. I`m homeless. My sons are blocked. My family is struggling to keep their head above water.

For your son, advise him to recite Hasbunallahu wa ni`ma ‘l-wakil 300x and Astaghfirullah 300x to open up the door or marriage and provision.

For your family, it is good if every member can come together and recite Hasbunallahu wa ni`ma ‘l-wakil 70,000x with the intention to take all these difficulties away and open the doors of Allah’s provision.

This adds up to 161. Do you have anything else?” The Prophet said, “Yes, alif lam mim ra.” They said, “This is longer and heavier; the ‘alif‘ is 1, the ‘lam‘ is 30, ‘mim‘ is 40, and ‘ra‘ is 200, making the total 271.” They finally gave up, saying, “We do not know how many of these initials he was given!” (Al-Suyuti’s Itqan)

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem has a numeric value of 786 from a letter-by-letter sum: of 2+60+40+1+30+30+5+1+30+200+8+40+50+1+30+200+8+10+40.

Mawlana’s Title

Assalaamoualaikoum
I am writing to you cause i would like to ask a question about the title given to Sheik Nazim. I have great respect for the Sheik. I have read on this web site that the title given to Sheik Nazim is Sultan ul Awliya.
I have read a lot about wali and sheiks and as far as i know there is only one and only sultan ul Awliya ( the cheif of all wali, the master of all wali, the rose of Baghdad) who is Sultan ul Awliya Hazrat Sheik Abdul Qadir al Hasani al Husayni al Jeelani Al Baghdadi (RA).
He is supreme to all wali till the day of judgement.

May someone reply to me?

Prayer Request: To Become a Good Person
