Period: Minimum days of always applicable?

Question:

I have bit of irregular period ……day 1 (first day of period) usually between 23 and 27 days apart. Normally 6 or 7 days bleeding. Sometimes up to ten. My 12th day of purity is today but last night it came on. I’m pretty sure it’s my period because I started taking evening primrose oil this month which affects hormones. Blood is also period-like. I wasn’t “meant” to be on until next week but like I said, period irregular!
My worry is that iI’ve only had 10 days of purity. 11th day was yesterday …I did Isha prayer then realised I had come on.  So today would be twelvth day of purity but there’s blood. I’m pretty certain it’s going to be my period but do I do prayer until I have completed 15 days of purity??

Answer:

Since you are sure, treat it as a period even if it came exceptionally early.

Complete refuse-how could I persuade…

Question:

Salam aleikum
As it looks like her family refuses a marriage between us completely! How could I persuade somebody who refuses completely? And if that doesn’t work how could I persuade her to marry me without the agreement of her family? If you know how to speak you can persuade a woman to everything! But my problem is that I don’t know how to speak! She is a divorcee and she is “old” so maybe she will never find a husband again because it’s also tradition there that a woman has to wait until a man asks for her hand and it’s a tradition in her family that all her ten brothers have to agree, so it will be very difficult for her to marry again and and even more so to find a husband who would be suitable.

Male chauvinism is from Jahiliyya (time of ignorance). Once you outgrow it you will be ready for marriage insha-Allah.

Confusion from following two tariqas

Question:

Assalamualiakum ya sayyidi ya Maulana Syeik Hisyam. Forgive me ya Sayyidi about my adab to asking you. I am 42 years old , First I am member for tarekat Qodiriyah & Naqshbandi and I after praticing 2 years I know about Naqshbandi Haqqani Sufi Way and I become attracted to follow Naqshbandi Way..and then I took ba’iat from the website. And pratice totally Naqshbandi awrad but when I am practice this awrad something missing in My heart. Before I do this I have Dzikir qolbi From My syeikh, I change my dzikir to Naqshbandi way..Because I am Confused My condition, Now I am praticing 1. I do Nashbandi Prayer from manual Book Dzikir & khataman Tarekat qodiriyah. And I do regularly daily wird From Naqshabandi way. 2. Because My tarekat a lot of tawwasull Now i do 2 different Tawwasull one from Naqshbandi. Please give me advise to follow you. Thank you .

Dream: Istekara for marriage

Dream:

I have been seeing a man at the mosque for almost a year now. I know nothing about him, where he is from, his name, his age etc. However, he has been noticing me as I have been noticing him after Dhikrs. I recently performed Istekarah dua to see if it was ok to continue persuing an interest to marriage. I saw two dreams. The first dream was that I had a baby girl that had similar features to his, light skin and dark hair and I was mothering her. The second dream consists of my aunty informing me of two marriage proposals in the Naqshbandi tariqa but not from the same culture. Please can you help me firgure out what the best thing to do.

Interpretation:

Baby girl in dreams signifies ease, so you may enquire about him and have a relative initiate contact toward marriage.

Prayer Request: Waiting for ten years

Request:

I have known someone for just about ten years now and have known I’ve always wanted to marry him, however I am getting older and nothing seems to be changing and I do wish to get get married now and have for some time. Perhaps there is some prayer you can recommend? It’s difficult, as he says he wants to wait for his brother and sister to get married first. However this may take a long time and I don’t see why it should stop me and him after all these years. Apart from that there are no issues. I feel it is now the age where I need that support of a husband and as a girl who is getting older it is worrying. I’m finding it emotionally difficult.

Response:

Tell him you will give him until the new Islamic year to marry you and otherwise you will move on, as 10 years is way beyond a reasonable time to make up his mind. Meantime recite Ya Fattah 100 times daily.

Dream: Of a friend

Dream:

Asalam alaykum wr wb

I had a dream of my friend who Iused to know very well. He comes up to me and tells me that the girl he is with is pregnant but he says he did not want that. He feels he made a mistake and that he wants me to help him to tell that girl that he does not want to be with her? But I don’t feel like I like him anymore in my dream?
Please can you tell me what this means?

Prayer Request: Urgent please

My friend family condition is too bad. Her father gives no attention to home nor take responsibility of anything. He even beats her mother badly. They are suffering extremely and economical conditions get worse. Please Maulana pray so that her father heart gets melt towards her mother and children and also he become responsible and love them. Any suggestion and wazifa is more appreciated. It’s ramazan plz pray.

Illegitimate Child?

Question:

If one was to marry another woman without consulting his first wife, and then begets a child from the secretly married woman is the begotten child an illegitimate child? Must the children of the first wife have any relationship with her or should they disown her as a sibling?

Answer:

`Alaykum salam,
An illegitimate child is not the case of a child born in a lawful marriage. Recognition from half siblings is immaterial but good relations are a blessing.

Ramadan Timings‏

Question:

My Brother lives in Netherlands and the Ramadan timings in Netherlands are very long. The FAJR azan will be at 4 am and MAGHRIB Azan will be at 9:40 pm (approx 18 hours). He wanted to know what is the Islamic practice / law when we have such long fast days. Is there any relaxation for E.G. can he follow fast timings of another close by Muslim country

Answer:

Hanafi fajr time is slightly later. He may break his fast if he travels or he gets sick, then make it up later. Other than that there is no excuse not to abide by local timings.

Dream: About masjid nabvi

Dream:

Asalam Alaikum wa rahmathullahi wa barkatahu,

Dear Respected Elders of Diin, last night I dreamt, although I don’t remember the entire dream but what was prominent about the dream is that masjid nabvi is become kabah like in appearance, that is it’s become black color instead of the usual green gumbadh. Within my heart I felt even after waking up that both kabah and masjid nabvi have become one, except there is no square black box but masjib nabvi in black. From there  I am directing my cousin to go to some place nearby this masjid and we both agreed that there is a place like that. My dream ended there.

Kindly interpret this dream for me.

Interpretation:

`Alaykum salam,
It is a very good dream about the two halves of shahada and ta`zim or magnification of the Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) who is the door to Allah Most High and who has greater status in his eyes than the Ka`aba, the Throne and the seven heavens. At the end of times the sign of true religion is high respect of Prophet (upon him blessings and peace).
