Dream: TICKET AND ARRESTED

Dream:

asalamalykum wr wb, I had a dream in which I’m driving with my family. Well my dad is driving and first a police officer gives us a ticket and I get sad and then my dad gets pulled over and arrested. My dad puts on a small smile and at the same time I feel really sad that he got arrested and that he was going to get taken away by the police officer. If you can please interpret this dream for me jazakallah khair and please pray for us! asalamalykum, may all of your maqams be constantly raised! ameen.

Interpretation:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,

These difficulties were seen in the dream as a warning of problems to come and giving you and your father an opportunity to proactively address them.  The Prophet (s) said that Sadaqa repels afflictions and increases one’s life.  Our Shuyukh recommend giving sadaqa daily, however small, to counteract the afflictions of that day.  And Allah (swt) knows best.

Dream: Istikhara dreams

Question:

https://eshaykh.com/family/istikhara-request-5/
Above link is the question asked about my situation. I requested Shaykh to perform istikhara for [private] with [private] and at the same time I performed istikara too, and had 3 different dreams over the 7 day period. Dream 1- sun shining, my cousin, her friend and me siting on bench outside and an ice cream van came and we got ice cream. Next scene was a street wedding and one woman was adding balloons, then saw the bride in pink and the groom in white (don’t know who they were). Dream 2- inside light and outside windy some of the glass cracks and the rain comes in. Another scene my dad’s friend in a wheel chair and dad’s reading namaaz and the friend comes to the room to put the prayer mat back. Dream 3- I’m reading a naat.
jzk for all your help.

Answer:

audhu billah mina ‘sh-shaytani ‘r-rajeem,

Bismillahi ‘r-Rahmani ‘r-Raheem,

wa `alaykum salam,

The issue mentioned in your original post is complicated if the groom’s father is not in agreement.  Islamically, neither the bride nor the groom may be married against their will, but in practice the family influence often is very strong in marriage issues.  You cannot ask istikhara to choose between two options when both options are not open.  Additionally, it is not protocol to make your own istikhara when you have already asked a pir for his istikhara.  Thirdly, when the pir or shaykh gives his istikhara do not ask for more elaboration as he has already given you whatever information is pertinent or needed.  We ask Allah (swt) to make your situation easier.

For your needs you may recite the following du`a, as taught by the Prophet (s):

Beard

Question:

Is beard wajib, farz or sunnah?
If a person keeps beard length less than one fist what is the religious ruling according to Hanafi school of thought?
Is very small beard serves the Islamic demand? Some ullamas says that it is not allowed to keep beard less than one fist and he is fasiq. Please clearify the issue.

Answer:

salam `alaykum,

Beard in Hanafi school of thought is a Sunnah Mu’akkadah. The Hanafi position is that the beard must be at least fist-length. To shave the beard or to cut it to less than a fist is prohibited.

Zakat

Question:

Assalaam aleykum wr wb ya Sayyidi MSN (q) and MSH, and holy family and to beloved ‘e shaykh staff ‘.
Plz forgive me for any short-coming of adab.
I would like to know that when giving zakat is it allowable for me to give it to a family member who is divorced and raising her children alone?

Jzk

Answer:

wa `alaykum salam,

Zakat can be spent on persons for the following purposes:

(i) It may be given to a poor person, who does not possess actual or potential means to meet his own expenses, as well as that of his family for a period of one year. However, a person who has an art or possesses property or capital to meet his expenses, is not classified as poor.

(ii) It may be paid to a miskin (a destitute person) who leads a harder life than a Faqir (a poor person).

Dream: On the roof of Kabah

Dream:

Salaam.
Recently I had a dream and it was like I was in MAKKAH and I saw the Holy Kabah in front of me. I climbed the Kabaah and stood on its roof, as soon as I got on the Roof of the Kabah I heard many voices and seen people below me saying ‘Please pray for me, do dua for me’. At that instant the dream ended. It was a very weird dream and I am still confused about it – could you please tell me the meaning to this.

Jazak’Allah

Interpretation:

wa `alaykum salam!

Houses must be “entered through their doors”.  Beware the praising of people and escape to your Lord.  Make tawba and Allah ta’ala knows best.
