Salaam aleykum, Shuyukh. I would like to ask to interpret a dream of my friend. She saw palaces build in caves..like in Petra in Jordan . She saw a peacock with purple feathers flying away she was admiring the peacock and the area she was in JazakA.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,
The peacock stands for a foreign king while caves are similar to ruins where one does not take up residence. Dream points to attraction to a non-Muslim of great means but it will not last nor yield fruit, and Allah knows best.

Question:

Doing istikhara I saw Shaykh Hisham in a different exterior and I asked him for baya. He shook his head. I stopped reading istikhara, I had another dream, I saw both my existing shaykh next to Shaykh Hisham, and asked again, I was given blessing to change.

Answer:

Wa `alaykum assalam wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuh,

These two dreams show that, as awliyaullah tell us, you cannot have two shaykhs of Irshad (tarbiyya) after you have taken an official baya` with one shaykh. When your original shaykh appeared next to Shaykh Hisham in the second dream, this is a stamp of approval from your original shaykh to receive baya` of barakah (blessing) from Mawlana Shaykh Hisham, inshaAllah.

My cat died few days ago. I love my cat so much. Im making dua to Allah that I want to see my cat again. And yesterday I had a dream. I was in a hospital look alike waiting room, it was packed with people. I saw my cat and I played with him.

Answer:

Wa alaykum assalam wa rahmatu Allahi wa barakatu,

InshaAllah Allah (swt) has granted you the ability to see your cat since you longed to see it. Awliyaullah inshaAllah want to show you that it is not difficult for Allah (swt) to give you visions and are reminding you to direct yourself and himma (intention) towards Him subhanahu wa ta’ala.

I dreamed this morning of Maulana Shaykh Nazim trying to smoke cigarettes I tried my best to stop him even taking it out of his mouth with the utmost respect. Can you ask Shaykh Hisham to pray for me inshallah.

Answer:

Walaikum assalam, 

If the mureed see’s his Shaykh in a dream in a manner that does not befit the Shaykh, the mureed must know that the fault the Shaykh is showing is in the mureed. Smoking could mean some shortcoming in one’s manners, worship, or state.

Question:

I saw in my dream a tiger who attacked my little brother I slaughtered him and saved him. The same dream came two days after but with a dog, and I did the same (slaughtered him) and saved by little brother.
