Answer:

Audhubillahiminashaytanirajeem
BismillahirRahmanirRahim

Wa alaikum salaam,

This can be a signal to pay attention to your heart meaning your deeper being and soul. This means increasing dhikr not only the sense of saying more tahlil, tasbih, tahmid, istighfar and salawat but also breathing steadily and allowing your mind and heart to contemplate the deeper mysteries of Allah’s creation and the Presence of RasulAllah saws and his family, companions and awliya with love and all that follows.

الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَتَطْمَئِنُّ قُلُوبُهُم بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ

Those who believe and whose hearts are set at rest by the remembrance of Allah; now surely by Allah’s remembrance are the hearts set at rest.

Quran 13:28

WaAllahu Alam,

Salam from the grave of my dead sister

Question:

I feel pain in my heart at death of a close relative I send salam to him who returns my salam. Then I see my dead sisters grave & send her salam she sends me salam. I tell myself SAWS told was right dead ppl can hear our salam. I recite shahadah. Tabir ps

Answer:

Allah mentioned the story of Ibrahim (as) in the Holy Quran when He said:

{And, lo, Abraham said: “O my Sustainer! Show me how Thou givest life unto the dead!” Said He: “Hast thou, then, no faith?” (Abraham) answered: “Yea, but [let me see it] so that my heart may be set fully at rest.” Said He: “Take, then, four birds and teach them to obey thee; then place them separately on every hill [around thee]; then summon them: they will come flying to thee. And know that God is almighty, wise.” } (Surat al-Baqara, 2:26)

Similarly, your dream is a sign that you have true belief in what the Holy Prophet ﷺ said, “You do not hear better than they do, except they do not respond.” (Bukhari), but it is to give full confidence to your heart, especially in this time of darkness and unbelief, as indicated by reciting Shahada. Allah knows best.

Vile wife

Question:

What rewards will a husband get for tolerating his abusive, vile wife who destroys his motivation and deen in life?
Husband can divorce but sacrifices his happiness for his childrens sake because he does not want them to be raised alone by a bad example.

Answer:

Walaikum assalam,

This is a great affliction you are experiencing. May Allah make it easy for you and give you patience.

Abu Dawud mentions in the Sunan, and it is related by Ahmad as well (Hadith No. 959) :

The Prophet (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said :

“This my Ummah, is a Ummah that has mercy upon it, ‘Marhooma’- a Ummah that has mercy that’s been wrapped in Mercies; there is no punishment for this Ummah in the Hereafter except their punishment that they experience in the Dunya — killing and death and dying, trials and tribulations, earthquakes and the like.”

And the wording of Abu Dawud is :

“This Ummah reminds of the Ummah, that Allaah has placed His mercy upon. This Ummah will not have any punishment in the Hereafter, this punishment is in this world with fitan, trials, tribulations and punishments and difficulties, and earthquakes and killings, murder, death.. like this.”
