My father’s business has slowed down a lot due to the economy and has left him no choice but to go to Afghanistan and translate there. The job is very good and will hopefully get us out of debt.
The problem is that since the pay is well, the conditions are not so good. Lots of people have been telling us that Afghanistan has lots of bad people there. And a majority of the people who come back from Afghanistan have various mental illnesses due to the war.
I have performed istikhara and prayed if my dad should go. I don’t remember much of my dream but remember seeing something black (which to my knowledge indicates something bad). I don’t know what to really do, and was asking your opinion if my father should go or not.

Black means you will be in the black again. Allah has opened a door of sustenance that will lift you out of debt, moreover in a country filled with Awliya so do not listen to naysayers but ask for Divine support and protection. Do your best with a strict daily spiritual practice and you will be fine as Allah makes no difference between East and West, it is all His and you are under His roof.

I have had two dreams in the past 4 months:
1. MSN brings me and my two sisters (we are all in tariqa) to a secret place which seemed like the top most part of a mosque. He climbs all the way up looking over the wall and we are all hanging onto his jubba and he tells us to look over, I remember seeing what seemed like blank white light.
2. A lady mureed dials my number (MSH always stays at her house upon visiting), she hands the phone over to MSH, he is smiling and saying “come we are starting another sohbah in 20 minutes, bring everyone we will wait for you”. I panic out of excitement that MSH said such a big thing to me, I tell everyone the news in my house and we all rush to get ready to visit MSH.

May Allah protect you and your family. Keep Salat on time, give charity and feed the poor, join a gathering of dhikr on a regular basis. In sha Allah your spiritual state will improve.

Dream:
I recently did istikhara to know whether I should wait for the girl I know for marriage or not. There are various problems because of which marriage may not happen and so she denied the proposal, but still I want to wait for things to change.
Dream : She and her friends are at my place and we all are having a good time together at night, She is wearing a bright red colour dress. And we are enjoying the time, I am playing guitar for her and she is enjoying. scene 2 – I ask her where you want to be, she replies “I want to be In your arms” and giggles. A flirtatious reply. And the dream ends there.

I have been separate for the last two years neither me or my wife have asked for divorce but I really love her and want to get back together with her. She is being very stubborn, and her mother and friends are interfering. I made huge mistakes because I used to argue with her. I had to go through the courts to see my daughter but now I want my wife to sort our problems out she doesn’t want to meet and I don’t know what to do. I need some advice and some wazaifs . I am seriously not considering divorce and she isn’t either Also, my mother had a dream and she saw my wife she was crying and hugging my clothes and telling my mother that she misses me.

Alaykum Salam,
Estimate how many days/years are due, and accordingly pray an extra fard after each fard for whatever length of time it takes to make up the number, or two extra fards after each fard. Any extra time you might have, pray make-up prayers in sets of five as in the five daily prayers, silently and without iqama but each with its niyya after the time of day
(Zuhr, Asr…) and keep count.

Assalamu Alaikum Shaikh,
My soul is never at rest. Whenever I pray, I hope it will come true only to have my dua not happen or the opposite happen. While I understand not all duas are answers, my soul has become sad. I dua but think “it will never happen.” I’ve lived through trials kids my age could never imagine. Physically I fight to function normally, and Shaikh I cry as I’m typing this, I’m tired. I just want one thing to happen that’s not taken away. I’ll tell myself the next day will be better, especially if it’s Jumma. Only to get really bad information on Jumma. This has been happening for two years. Im not are how much more I can endure. Please Shaikh dua for me. I need good changes, please.

With dhikr the soul feels rest. Find a jamaa that does dhikr and join them on a regular basis. Make salawat daily as it will make you happy. Look for Awliya in your area and visit them on a regular basis. Asking for guidance in a state of need is worship so be glad because you are in a state of nearness to Allah in sha Allah.
