Prayer Reqeust: Suffering from something

Question:

Assalamualikum,

For the passed year I have been suffering from something unknown. Sometimes for few seconds I seem to lose the sense to think or make sense of what’s in front of me, cant read and also whatever work I do I don’t succeed in it and attract bad fortune.

When I want to pray, do zikr etc, I get the feeling inside me that whats the point praying or doing zikr as my duas and prayers will not get accepted and I will not get anything. It seems like I have lost my spiritual sense and whatever spiritual work, wazifa etc I do I cannot get successI

Everyone has said I have black magic done to me. I read various daroods, tasbih Yunus, 4 Quls, Asmaul-husna etc but cannot rectify these problems.
Please help me and prescribe me any wazifa to solve all this problems with the permission of Shaykh.

Wassalam.

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

Make dhikr with group every week and don’t miss it. Give sadaqa, make dua, read Salat and Qur’an and do your best without listening any more to any negative opinion as they are all wrong.

Prayer Request: Wazifa

Request:

Asalam o laikum,

I want to ask something about wazifa. My mother wants to read a wazifa on the behalf of my brother who is living in Sweden for his better job. I want to know is she allowed to do so. If yes, then please let me know and give us a wazifa to read on behalf of my brother. Thank you.

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

Of course she is allowed and her dua is mustajab. She can read Surat Ya Sin every morning or a Hizb of Qur’an or from Dala’il al-Kahyrat and then make dua for her son.

Fasting

Question:

Hi,

There is a hadith that say if anyone is capable of getting married he should do so otherwise he should fast.

I am not financially capable of getting married. So in order to keep my carnal desires under control I have to fast. But I’m not sure for how many days?

I mean do I have to fast every day? But there is another hadith that whoever fasted everyday, he never fasted.

So how am I supposed to fast?

Answer:

Fast Mondays and Thursdays.

Nude images online

Question:

Salam,

In my previous rebellious life I had done many bad things. One of them was I used to upload pictures of my uncovered private parts on line. Now I have made tawbah. I have tried to delete these pics several times but for some reason can’t. I have also contacted the site admins via email and private messaging asking them to take my pictures down on countless occasions. To this day I have not received a single reply!

I wanted to ask will Allah still forgive even though these pics are still on the net? I have tried hard but cant do much else. Please help. jazzakAllah

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

The nature of that medium is to be exploitative and unforgiving so you might need legal action or the threat of it to force the host website to take them down, however even that might not work. Allah Most High accepts repentance (tawba) of which one of the conditions is to correct the effects of one’s sin, which you have done your best to do. So move on and trust in His mercy, and leave the rest behind you as repentance erases whatever was done before.

Response:

Alaykum Salam,

Mawlana Shaykh Hisham is praying for you. Allah swt is not on our schedule but rather we are on His. First contribution is accept the delay as part of your Islam to his Qadar. Be a student first by joining Mawlana’s Jamaa in your area. Learning from suhba is superior to bookish learning. Allah will give you tawfiq and health in sha Allah.

Clapping during dhikr

Question:

Salam,

I was at dhikr and was clapping palm to palm along with the drums. After the dhikr one of the brothers who was new to the tariqah said to me it was wrong to clap during dhikr and gave this reference from the Quran.

The (Kuffaar of makkah) Salaah prayer) at the House (of Allaah, i.e. the Ka‘bah at Makkah) was nothing but whistling and clapping of hands. Therefore taste the punishment because you disbelieved.

[al-Afaal 8:35] and said to me that clapping shouldn’t be done as this ayyat mentions that kufr did it as part of their prayer and they’ll get punished, what can I say in reply to his reference from the Quran?

Answer:

Alaykum Salam,

If his reasoning were true then why did Prophet (upon him blessings and peace) order women to use clapping inside salat if they want to warn the imam about something? And why did he allow drums on festive occasions, which are like tens of pairs of hands clapping at once? Most importantly there is no comparison between Muslims and pagans even if they both do the same act because their niyya is completely different. We do not read Qur’an in a vacuum but in the context of the whole Shari’a which ensures its proper understanding.

Dream: Narrating a miracle of Shaykh Nazim

Dream:

Asalamualaykum,

I had a dream in which I was narrating a miracle of Shaykh Nazim al Haqqani the one when he was on Hajj and sitting with his students at the same time. I was narrating it to a brother who was interested in it but while I was telling him I had a doubt that there was certain prohibitions when narrating miracles but I was unaware of them. What would be the interpretation of the dream?

Interpretation:

wa ‘alaykum salam,

That means you are ready to spread the teachings of this Most Distinguished Way but you have some doubts which the dream has rectified, insha-Allah, with the power of the Shaykh.

And Allah knows best.

Fishing with a hook

Question:

As Salam ‘Alaykum!

786

Please, could you tell me with it is halal, in the four madhab, to fish with hook? I’m asking this, because sometimes I think that this could be deceit, deceiving the fish with food then capturing it. Jazakallahu khair.

Answer:

Wa Alaykum Salam,

The laws have not been set out on how to kill fish and other seafood.
